DPP Grants
The Down Payment Plus (DPP) program is a down payment and closing cost money assistance program offering qualified first time home buyers a $5,000 grant. This is an ideal program for those who do not have the savings available for the down payment required when purchasing a home.
Some of the rules and requirements of this program are:- Income limits apply - Please go to the DPP website for your income qualification
- The home must be the primary residence
- The buyer must contribute $750 towards the home purchase
- The buyer must attend home buyer counseling from an approved agency
- 1/60th of the grant is forgivable for each month of residency in the home
The DPP Grant may be used in conjunction with the DPA Loan, WHEDA, GRH, and fixed rate products.
